The B. B. King Museum opened its doors on September 13, 2008; and making that deadline depended to a great degree on the professionalism of Robinson Electric. As the electrical sub to our general contractor, Robinson Electric was a lifesaver. The Museum represents a $15 million investment, and getting it to the grand opening took a herculean effort by everyone, especially Robison Electric.

To say that the Museum was complicated would be an understatement. One of the most beautiful pieces of art in the Museum is not where the public can see it. It’s the wonderful workmanship displayed by some of the most talented conduit benders in the business. The primary electrical control room is a work of art, with conduits of every size skillfully snaking their way through the overhead space. One really has to see this to believe it.

I found Robinson Electric’s workmanship and attention to detail to be exemplary. Their crew would often assist with problems that were unrelated to their contract. That’s what really sets these guys apart.

I think they are the best of the best.”
